How It Works

HourlyBid is an hourly startup leaderboard. Submit your app or website, bid to compete for the top spot each hour, and track lifetime performance across resets.

How listing works

  1. Submit your website URL from the homepage or the project submission page.
  2. You must pay at least $1 listing fee; you can pay up to $999 to appear on top of the page. Startups on top are instantly visible to the site visitors and gain highest traction.
  3. Complete your listing with a title, description, and optional logo.
  4. To move up, outbid the current hour's top amount. The required bid is the hour's highest bid plus $1, with a minimum of $1 and a maximum of $999.
  5. If you want, you can submit the same URL multiple times which will accumulate over time.
  6. Rankings are sorted by highest bid first. If two projects have the same bid, the earlier bid wins the higher rank.
  7. The leaderboard resets every calendar hour. Whoever holds rank #1 when the hour ends wins that hour.
  8. The top 5 leaders of each hour will also be listed on Past Hours list and Lifetime Scoreboard.
  9. Projects do not carry over automatically to the next hour. You bid again in the new hour to compete for visibility.
  10. Lifetime score tracks the total amount, accumulated over time on your own project.

How payment is done

  1. After a successful listing payment, you complete your project details before the listing goes live.
  2. After a successful bid payment, your bid is activated immediately, ranks are recalculated, and you return to the homepage.
  3. Completed payments are generally non-refundable. We may cancel payments that are fraudulent, disputed, or violate our terms.

Constraints and rules

  • You must own or have permission to promote any website you submit. URLs must be valid and use a real domain format.
  • Do not submit illegal, misleading, or infringing content.
  • Links to illegal sites or illicit materials, including any sexual or adult-only content, are prohibited.
  • Project titles and descriptions must stay within the limits shown in the submission form.
  • Optional logos must be image files within the upload size limit.
  • We may review, suspend, edit, or remove projects and cancel bids that violate these rules.
